Ok, I know I already posted my free verse poem, but I wrote this today, and I liked it better. I don't care whether or not we workshop it, I just wanted to post it.
Why are we not stronger than this-
This silly desire, this stupid passion?
I can feel it in your gaze,
Hear it in your touch,
Do you see what I'm saying?
My whole body screams
As we move closer.
My heart screams for more,
Screams to be loved.
But my head screams for sense,
Screams that I must stop
Before it's too late.
