Letter to the Editor

Editor-In-Chief of the Morning Call,

I am writing this letter for a few different reasons. I must inform you of unbelievable crimes within our own police force. By writing this I am doing my best to be free from blame. I find it suitable to inform you instead a higher authority within the government because the media is able to make more of an impact than simply dealing with the source of the problem, our ostensible protectors from crime. I have been trying to collect as much information and evidence.
I will start from the beginning; I am the wife of a very powerful member of the police department. My husband thinking that I would never question his work became very lacks about hiding his connection to the underground crime families, the things he did for them, and the money and power he received for helping them. For years the government have been helping the crime families especially the Italian mafia, giving them the most power within our city. This has caused a division within our government, not only locally but statewide, and maybe even farther. They all know of these actions but many refuse the mandates from their leaders and peers, and detest the entire situation. With numerous man in uniform wanting to improve the city, there is much hope. But I fear for the safety of the men and women in our government that have the best intentions for us as citizens, which is another reason why we need action to be taken! All of this must start with informing the people of what is happening because attention must be brought to the circumstances. I have enclosed many documents between the police and crime families, and also a list of people to investigate, a list of crimes committed and as many details as I can give you, and some other information. I hate to devolve these problems onto you and your staff but I feel that you have the resources to do something that I cannot. I will write to you again hopefully with more information.
