Intro to Self

Hey guys. For my intro to self I decided to go through 50 of my favorite songs and pull out the lyrics that relate best to how I feel about life in general. I pieced them together in a way that doesn't flow easily, but I think that symbolizes something: the fact that life doesn't always happen in an ideal sequence. So- all of these words are lyrics, I didn't want to take credit for them. If you are wondering what song a line is from, let me know and I can tell you.

This is my apology for killing myself from the inside out,

I gotta tell you: This place isn’t what I thought.
The least they ever gave me was the most I ever knew.
All the dreams I never thought I’d lose got tossed along the way.
All that I feel is the realness I’m faking.
My mouth is filled with blood from trying not to speak.
Words without a sound are falling from my eyes.
Don’t tell me if I’m dying, because I don’t want to know.
I’ll close my eyes and just pretend the bullet isn’t there.
There’s no surprise- no need to pretend that anyone really cares.
